The Akismet spam counter ticked over 7,000 spams blocked earlier this evening. At just over 100 posts on this site, that works out to an average of almost 70 spam attempts per post. That’s almost double the number of legitimate comments I’ve had in the entire two years BeerBloggers.com has been live. Scary!
