I just got back from our June meeting of the Maine Beer Writers’ Guild, and I wanted to say cheers to Eric Michaud, the owner of Novare Res Bier Café. Three-plus hours reveling in beer geekery is an experience not to be missed. I’ll post some more (coherent) thoughts on the evening in the coming days, but any night that includes three different sour beers to compare and contrast and is then followed by some Dogfish Head goodness and a couple more European delights is a great night in my book.
